Rajasthani Paintings: The Pride Coming All The Way!

Coming all the way from the Mughal Empire one thing that outstands everything in the field of art are the Rajasthani Paintings. Flourishing between 16th to 19th century, these paintings come from the various schools of Rajasthan naming The Mewar School, The Kishangarh School, The Bikaner School, The Bundi School and The Jaipur School usually depicting stills from Ramayana, Mahabharata, local love stories and the life of the common people.
The paintings of this era are depicting the life of women during this time. These are self explanatory in which one can visualize the miraculous beauty of the local women and it spectaculates the viewer to admire the grace and elegance of doing the house hold work. These paintings also known as the miniature paintings are a treat to any one’s eye.
